Why this site is not an explanation of facelift surgery

The cluster already publishes a thorough account of what a facelift is: the anatomy, the planes, the techniques and the operations. Reproducing that here would help nobody. This site exists for the stage before it — the point at which someone is deciding whether to have an operation, and needs to know whether lifting is even the right answer to the thing that bothers them.

What that changes about the writing

Every guide here is framed around a decision rather than a procedure. The alternatives guide does not treat non-surgical options as a stepping stone to surgery; it says plainly which complaint each option treats and which it does not. The cost guide explains the drivers of a total without quoting a figure, because a figure on a website is not a quotation for your face. And the guide on refusal explains the cases in which the correct advice is not to operate.

How it is reviewed

Content is medically reviewed by Tongchun Mao, MD, head of aesthetic surgery at Chongqing West District Hospital, and the review date appears on every article. The site names no product and no brand, quotes no dosage and no price, guarantees no outcome, and states plainly that scars are permanent and that the result is judged at six to twelve months.

What no website can do

It cannot tell you whether your face has enough descent to benefit, whether your skin will hold a lift, or which of the several ageing processes is dominant in your case. Those answers require an examination. Read this site to arrive at that appointment able to ask better questions, not to arrive at a conclusion without it.
